English Dub Review: Garo: Vanishing Line “Yu Light”

Overview (Spoilers Below)

The showdown between Sophie and King is averted when Sword, followed by a new and improved Zaruba, show up to make the save. Everyone regroups with Luke and Gina and everyone decides to head back to El Dorado which is slowly becoming desouled via mobile devices as is the rest of the world (similar to Kingsman). Luke and Gina head into battle with Knight and Queen while Sophie and Sword head back to El Dorado to shut down The Eldo Net and take on King.

Our Take

There’s not a lot of action this week as clearly we’re getting an interlude to several huge battles happening next week, but Zaruba showing up to save all was really well done and by far the most exciting part of the episode. King’s character design is also super creepy, featuring elements that appear to be somewhat derived from Alien, Spider-Man’s “Venom” character, and more, but it’s a really fun character thus far and we should all be pumped about the impending battles to come.
