Review: Cat Agent “Red Carpet Purrmiere”

Overview (Spoilers Below)
The second season kicks off with a big premiere of the Cat Agent web series when during the screening everyone gets a message that Cat Agent has in fact ripped off another agent that happens to be a cat in a very popular animated series featured on “Petflix”. Distraught, Cat Agent flies to Maine to escape the drama but after experiencing a quick dose of winter opts to fly back instead.
Our Take
Literally find out by happenstance about the season two premiere of Cat Agent, similar to the way our titular star finds out about Princess Carolyn.
In any event, while the premise of the premiere has been done before, I love the paradoxical/fourth-wall breaking elements of this show. The fact that the producers have the premise of mind to go after another show on a different streaming service, even if clearly in jest, is the type of stuff you don’t see a lot. You often don’t know if the show is remarking on real life or the world of Cat Agent, and I don’t care, because with crass yet funny dialogue coming from an adorable character, Cat Agent is off to a solid start.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
