English Dub Review: Garo: The Vanishing Line “God’s Will”

Overview (Spoilers Below)

Garo and Co. head to Ferre Salé Dessimo, a Makai Alchemist village in the Land of Guidance which is a settlement that features some sort of elderly sage that has more info on El Dorado which, as we learn, is a place with issues. Afterwards, Gina takes part in a trial that rewards her with a ruby but is also told of a powerful ring worn by the king of El Dorado. Everyone leaves and we’re officially back on track towards El Dorado.

Our Take

After an extended hiatus, this week’s episode was a great way to get prepped for what’s to come. We got a nice recap of not only the 2017 finale but also of what we’re up against in terms of El Dorado and all the crazy shit we can expect to happen there. Sandwiched in between was a killer, and I mean, KILLER trial from Gina that helped showcase the producers’ technical prowess especially as it pertains to fight scenes. Something tells me, that last part is gonna become important in the coming weeks.
