Review: Bunsen is a Beast “Adventures in Babysitting” ; “Wilda Beast”
She moaned like a wilda beast.
Overview (Spoilers Below)
“Adventures in Babysitting”
Bunsen and Mikey are at a factory that makes monster babies that get delivered by monstorks. During one of the exchanges, Mikey accidentally swaps out a bag of tacos with a bag filled with baby and now we’ve gotta find the parents. Amanda gets in the way by attempting to take the baby, but she quickly gives it back and the guys are able to locate the parents. Unfortunately for them, the baby eats the tacos before they have a chance to enjoy them which means a return trip to the taco truck.
“Wilda Beast”
Bunsen’s cousin Wilda shows up and instantly has a crush on Mikey, so she invites him to a dance in the beast world. Mikey’s not crazy about going and lets Amanda know in advance, which of course sets her off. While at the dance, we find out that Wilda has a boyfriend named Jeremy and he’s pissed that his gal is dancing with someone else. Fortunately, Amanda shows up and kicks his ass, and in return, she gets a dance with Mikey.
Our Take
We actually had a nice couple of episodes tonight! I think something that maybe goes under the radar for this series is how goofy their monster character designs are and we got to see that on full display tonight. Also, “Adventures in Babysitting” may have been one of the funniest episodes of the show thus far. And I think I kinda prefer the show when Amanda gets a win instead of a dealt loss every once in a while.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
