English Dub Review: Lastman “Action”

Overview (Spoilers Below)

Richard, Tomie, and Siri are bonding at the mall when two junkies cause a stir leading to a Mexican standoff between them and the police. Problem is, all of the police’s moves are being given away on TV which is on for the junkies to watch, so no sort of tactical advancements work. As a result, it’s up to Richard, Siri, and Tomie to work out a plan, but we fade to black before we get to see it come to fruition.

Our Take

A sidebar plot for sure, but it’s a fun one. I’ll be curious to see what happens with Richard and Tomie’s relationship moving forward and just how far Siri will go with her powers. Also, for the first time, I found the montage at the beginning to be the most helpful of the season so far in terms of clearing up some of the plot points that I felt were foggy up until now, so that was good. I fucking loved the stroll down memory lanes brought on by the arcade games, and the character development shown on the growing relationship between Rich and Tomie was well done.
