English Dub Review: Konohana Kitan “Konohanatei Horror Stories”

Overview:

The employees are seen telling scary stories, somehow triggering a haunting. The only evidence the group of five sees is the six shadows shown by candlelight. The manager asks the crew to check on the guests and go ‘ghost hunting’ in pairs.

Seeing everyone interact with the ghost becomes more and more comedic as time goes on, driving some to the point of frustration instead of fright.

Our Take:

What starts out as a ghost hunt becomes an existential discussion about love with Yuzu. The little fox is so clueless sometimes that it just adds to her being adorable.
