English Dub Review: Garo: Vanishing Line “Knight”

Meet the other dark knight.

Overview (Spoilers Below)

Sword can’t take on Knight just yet because he’s gotta send Meifong and Sophie underground for safety. The two girls eventually get tracked down by a horror and Meifong has to fight them off with a talisman which appears to take a lot out of her.

Knight and Luke take part in an epic battle that sees the student fall to his master. Sword returns, and an even crazier battle ensues between the two knights that see Sword come out the victor but is unable to land the finishing blow before Dark Knight escapes.

Our Take

The battle scenes in this show are friggin’ epic af, and humor continues to subside in exchange for shit-talking and long sequences which I’m totally fine about. Nobody’s voice performances are blowing me away right now with the lone exception possibly being Madeleine Morris. Maybe as we’re starting to get into the thrust of the show’s overall arc, we’ll start to see who Knight works for and can get more of a sample then.
