3) Broad City “Mushrooms”
Despite being advertised as an animated episode by a lot of different outlets, really only a portion, approximately half, of “Mushrooms” is animated. Quite frankly, I actually think that’s half of the fun of the episode because you get a good sense of when the girls are taking off on their trip and then when they come down, and then when they smoke, how the two psychtropes kinda mesh before finally giving way and detailing the consequences. I think perhaps the best-produced parts of the episode were when Ilana and Abbi’s eyes were animated during live-action scenes because that’s gotta be the hardest part for Mike Perry’s studios and they did a fabulous job.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
