“Steven Universe” Has Television Return Date For Six Episodes (But You Can Watch Them Now)

Six new episodes of Steven Universe will premiere on Cartoon Network’s linear channel starting on December 15th and will continue with the following airings through the end of the month:
- Fri December 15th – 7:30 PM (EST) – 505/506 – Dewey Wins/Gemcation
- Fri December 22nd – 7:30 PM (EST) – 507/508 – Raising the Barn/Back to the Kindergarten
- Fri December 29th – 7:30 PM (EST) – 509/510 – Sadie Killer/Kevin Party

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
