English Dub Review: A Sister’s All You Need “All You Need is to Write Novels”

Overview:

We are brought into the episode by Itsuki, who attempts to his from his editor anywhere possible. Finally, settling on a karaoke place, Shirakawa accompanies him thinking they’re going to go sing. With the writer had already missed his the ‘true deadline’, his editor, Toki, forces him to go to the office and complete his work there. He is “broken out” by Setsuna and asked to accompany the illustrator to the hot springs. The author agrees, thinking he’s managed to fake out his editor as to his whereabouts.

What the author thinks is an escape, turns out being something Toki had long prepared for, showing up shortly after Itsuki sits himself down in a hot tub.

The editor proceeds to lock Itsuki up in a prison-like room at an undisclosed location, the condition of his freedom is a completed manuscript.

Our Take:

This turned out to be a hilarious episode. It can be described as somewhat of a cat-and-mouse game between two of the characters. The choice in music added to the overall humor atmosphere of it, and it brings back memories of older anime. All in all, pretty good. The story did advance this time.
