Animatics: “Big Mouth” Opening Titles ; Cut Scene From “The Simpsons”
How it looks before you see it.
Big Mouth season one is currently streaming on Netflix to mass critical acclaim. The Titmouse-produced series has generated massive amounts of social appeal and we loved the hell out of it.
It hasn’t taken long before the producers have started to reflect on their successes and that includes this animatic of the opening titles as produced by Pat Keegan that you can check out below. No announcement on a potential second season being produced for Big Mouth, but it seems like there’s enough here to warrant additional seasons.

In other opening scene news, Matt Selman, producer for The Simpsons, has posted this deleted opening scene from “Springfield Splendor” and god damn it I would’ve liked to have seen this one finished. Hopefully, we can see it on a home release in the future, but in the meantime, here’s an animatic of the cutscene.
The Simpsons is all-new this Sunday Night @ 8 pm ET/PT, check your local listings.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
