“South Park” Caused Viewers To Have Their Alexa/Google Homes Go Off

I think South Park just one-upped Rick and Morty in the “crazy shit after an episode” department.

I have a Google assistant and this didn’t work for me (I’m told that Google devices aren’t as prone to waking as Amazon devices are), but I guess people are reporting on the #SouthPark21 hashtag on Twitter, made famous by South Park’s awesome marketing, that during the seasons in which Cartman in the kids was turning on their Google Homes, Amazon Alexas, and Apple Siris viewers watching had the same shit happen to them.

So far, only Amazon Alexas seem to have been affected, as you can see from this fan here, it worked literally on Cartman’s command which is absolutely insane. After 21 seasons, South Park continues to break down barriers, and now the producers have officially entered some peoples’ homes…your move other shows. I think the best thing about this is that no Microsoft Cortanas were affected because nobody on South Park or at home gives a shit about Microsoft Cortana.
