Review: We Bare Bears “Crowbar Jones”
Crowbars up.
Possible Spoilers Below
The episode begins when Grizz plans to show-off an epic amateur movie he just made called “Crowbar Jones” which Panda isn’t particularly fond of due to Grizz blatantly dressing up as a Panda to play his clumsy idiot sidekick named “Pando”. However, it isn’t until the audience’s collective dislike towards the Pando character in combination with the film’s predictable movie cliches is when Grizz learns his lesson and apologizes for his inconsiderate attitude when he offers to stop the movie.
In response to Grizz’s apology. Panda & Ice-Bear instead, decide to help Grizz come up with a plan to keep the audience glued to the screen which works out in the form of a comedic yet unpredictably effective solution that kept me just entertained the audience.
Our Take
This was more of a Grizz-centric episode but the heart of it was about Grizz learning to be more considerate to Panda’s feelings when Panda was understandably embarrassed by the film’s goofy portrayal his Panda Breed. I also find it odd that the animals adjacently sat next to the humans while casually watching Grizz’s film without reacting towards one another, but It does give you an idea that the universe these characters live in, is more than just satirical jokes about the overly trendy camera-phone/hashtag/hipster/selfie crowd that I’ve often encountered in the random episodes I’ve seen in this show.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
