“The Fixer”
Ruby’s pipes are about to burst, and she’s ready to call a plumber, but Taiyang shows up. He insists on fixing it for her, despite her reluctance. He ‘fixes’ the faucet with duct tape, leaving Ruby to back away. Yang’s bike breaks down, and when Taiyang offers to help her, she refuses. He guilt-trips her into saying yes and ends up doing a poor repair job.
Later, Ruby notes that her computer’s not working, and Yang agrees. Taiyang swoops in, offering to help. They agree, but Taiyang can’t figure it out. The two sisters congratulate each other, revealing that they set this up to keep Taiyang occupied.

“Jr. She-detectives”
Phyrra and Nora join up with Sun and Neptune as part of the detective squad. Phyrra deduces that Sun stole Neptune’s candy bar from the wrapper in his pocket and the stains on his hand. Neptune is still skeptical, but Nora quickly brings out a skeleton from the closer. Sun is astounded, and Neptune says he didn’t even realize they had a closet.

Taiyang stars in a lot of these shorts, as a well-meaning but silly, kind of overprotective dad. He’s a bit overbearing at times.and this time, him wanting to help causes a lot of trouble for the girls. He wants to help them, but he’s not skilled, and not willing to let them be autonomous. There’s been a lot of Taiyang in this sort of position in the Chibi segments lately, and it’s been getting a little bit old.
On the other hand, girl detectives. Can’t go wrong with that.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
