Slight Updates On Adult Swim Premieres For 2017/2018

Alright, everyone, we’ve got a couple of updates to let you know about concerning Adult Swim’s premieres for new and returning programming that should reflect on all of the originally announced premieres that happened on April Fool’s Day.

First up, there was a new Squidbillies episode that streamed last night on Adult Swim that was NOT a finished audio mix for a future episode and should be treated as such according to the show’s producers. The episode aired on August 3rd @ 11 pm ET on the Adultswim.com/streams page, the same awful page that has given us the likes of Fishcenter, those terribad Rick and Morty “development meetings”, and causes all the long lines at Comic Con for fans wanting to pitch TV shows that would never get made. Squidbillies is expected to premiere this Summer as per the April Fools’ Day announcement.

Next up, Hot Streets has been pushed back from a Fall premiere to that of a Winter 2018 start. Hot Streets which was ALSO an announcement made on the Adult Swim Streams. The series stars Mark Branski is an FBI agent along with his partner David French. The two collaborate with Branski’s niece Jen and her cowardly talking dog, Chubbie Webbers (Justin Roiland), to investigate paranormal phenomena.

Last, but not least, the Tyler, the Creator series The Jellies has officially been pushed to an October premiere according to multiple sources. The series was originally expected to premiere this Summer, but was pushed back which begs the question what, if anything, will premiere after the finale of Apollo Gauntlet on August 14th, the latter of which is already streaming on AdultSwim.com.

So far, no updates have been given as to whether or not Robot Chicken or Mr. Pickles have also been moved, both are still appear to be slated for Fall premieres
