Review: We Bare Bears “Summer Love”

Let’s leave these two love birds alone.

Pan Pan runs into a cute girl named Amanda at the coffee shop, but when she has to head out to catch a train, she leaves her phone behind. Pan spends most of the episode looking for her to return it and runs into the Mad Scientist who nearly destroys his chance, but ends up helping him when he hears about Pan’s qualms about finding true love. As a result, Pan is dropped off at the station in time to get Amanda her phone back.

Our Take

By far the best episode of the week. I loved Pan’s dream sequences as I thought they were really well done. Has the plot been done before? Yes. But there were some twists in Mad Scientist’s story that explained more about him that I thought were super interesting, all the while playing in a setting that might have put him in the same category as Rick Sanchez in terms of “holy shit” crazy. The ending was fabulous and continues to show that the writers are not afraid to take chances.
