“Animals” Season Three Gets First Guest Star
RATS! RATS! RATS!
Show producer Phil Matarese posted a hilarious tirade featuring one Andy Dick in the voice booth for Animals‘ third season coming next year for HBO. While it wasn’t made official. the best guess of whom Andy is voicing is, in fact, a rat named “Andy” who was part of the “Rats” episodes of which we now know there will be a new iteration of in the show’s forthcoming season.
For those that don’t know, HBO’s decidedly adult animated comedy series ventures into the nether regions of Earth’s least inhabitable environment, New York City, which is home to a motley crew of downtrodden creatures. Whether it’s lovelorn rats, gender-questioning pigeons or aging bedbugs in the midst of a midlife crisis, the awkward small talk, moral ambiguity and existential woes of non-human urbanites prove remarkably similar to those of humans. Created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano — who voice many of the characters — and produced by Jay and Mark Duplass (“Togetherness”), the series features such guest voiceover artists as Eric Andre, Jessica Chastain, Rob Corddry, Horatio Sanz, Molly Shannon, Ellie Kemper, Marc Maron, Wanda Sykes, Cobie Smulders and Jon Lovitz.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
