“Movie Night”

Jaune, Pyrrha, Ruby, and Sun all gather outside a movie theater, debating on which movie to see. Pyrrha wants to see a romance and imagines one of her and Jaune. Sun shoots it down, saying that he wants to see their version of Die Hard instead. Velvet shows up and says that she wants to see a children’s musical. Everyone shoots her down before she starts singing.

It’s nighttime, and they still haven’t decided on a movie. Jaune says that they should see a superhero movie since that’s what’s popular lately. Ruby says that she wants to see a horror movie called ‘Dog Rain’, but it’s not a horror movie– just a hailstorm of puppies. Before they can argue further, the theater closes for the day. They all agree to meet up next week for another debate.

“Wore it Better”

Neo puts on a fashion show, where she uses her powers to adopt different characters’ clothes. First, she dresses up as Weiss, which Roman calls, “spoiled brat”. She tries Ruby next, but Roman says he’s frustrated just thinking about it. Last off, Neo dresses up as Roman, and Roman admits that she pulls the look off better than he does.

These segments were all pretty fun, actually. The characters discussing their favorite movies also feature them imagining themselves in the main roles, so we get close versions of movie parodies. Some of them are genre parodies (musical/romance), while others are more well-known series/franchises (Batman/Sharknado). It’s enjoyable, and all good fun.

Wore it Better isn’t bad, but Movie Night was just better.
