‘Happy!’ Gets A Villain
Is this network gonna be the real thing or no?
Syfy series has tapped Joseph Reitman in the role of an upcoming villain in the 2018 comic adaptation known as Happy!
Happy! is based on New York Times best-selling author Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson’s graphic novel of the same name. The series follows Nick Sax (Christopher Meloni, Law & Order: SVU) – an intoxicated, corrupt ex-cop turned hit man – who is adrift in a world of casual murder, soulless sex and betrayal. After a hit gone wrong, his inebriated life is forever changed by a tiny, relentlessly positive, imaginary blue winged horse named Happy (Bobby Moynihan, Saturday Night Live).
Our Take
Syfy is a bit all over the place as a network. It quite honestly doesn’t know what it wants to be. Today, the network shows shades of its former SciFi self, mixed with IGN.com, and further mixed with a blender filled with diarrhea when it comes to their Syfy blog. Fortunately, Happy! looks pretty good, but can the network provide a nerd news service that’s unbiased with their own content? Doubtful.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
