“Gotham By Gaslight” Is Getting An Animated Adaptation
Holy shit…
For those who love their Batman crossed with some steampunk, Gotham By Gaslight is a classic tale of the Dark Knight and I don’t mean that because of the time setting. The Brian Augustyn-written graphic novel is one of the best Batman stories of all-time.
That’s why I was thrilled to learn on the back of the upcoming Batman and Harley Quinn animated film that Gotham By Gaslight will be the next DC Animated Universe feature-length.
No announcements on release date or cast at the moment, but hopefully the response is good for this one so that we can get other “elseworld” tales animated such as Batman & Dracula: Red Rain or Holy: Terror. The trailer is expected to be released in the next couple of weeks.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
