Sports X Cartoons: Spurs Fight Crime ; Sideburns Lady Don Mattingly Still Gets “Simpsons” Checks
We’ve got some sports quick-hits for ya this morning.
The Western Conference Semi-Finals battle between the San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Rockets is tied 2-2 right now, but the biggest crime might be how terribad James Harden’s defense has been both in this series, and all season long.
Hopefully, Paps can call upon his team to lock up the offender and move on to the Western Conference Finals just like this:

Marlins beat writer Tim Healey recently Tweeted an update as to what former NY Yankee slugger and sideburns afficionado Don Mattingly thought of his guest appearance in the timeless classic “Homer at the Bat” which is slated to head into the baseball hall of fame later this month.
Don Mattingly has never seen “Homer at the Bat.” He still gets $.87 checks for it, but doesn’t cash them so he can mess with the accountant.
