Shorts Review: Tangled Short Cuts “Prison Bake”
These shorts aren’t short on importance.

Tangled’s Short Cuts continue to shine a light on the less prominent figures of the kingdom. This time, it’s one of the Pub Thugs. Attila tells a gritty tale of how he used his baked goods to spring his criminally-minded friends out of jail.
Clearly contrasting from the first short, this is not a silent film, even though the story could have been told without dialogue. Having Attila serve as the narrator was an effective choice. For a character whose face is completely hidden, his voice shows a lot of personalities. It also elevates the short from a series of gags to a jazzy crime film, which plays seamlessly into the twist at the end – Attila has spent this time regaling his story to the ladies of the Corona Baking Club.
These two and a half minutes are action packed, including some laughs and even a training montage. They also keep up with one of Tangled’s major themes, not looking at a person’s past and actions as black and white. It’s another fun episode that’s not afraid to let creativity run free.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
