ProSieben’s Most Watched Fox Show, “The Simpsons” Staying Put
Oh good…
Variety reports that German media company ProSieben’s most watched series, The Simpsons, isn’t going away from the network anytime soon as FOX TV has extended a deal with the media company that will see popular FOX shows stay put on the network for a long while.
According to the article, the broadcasting rights apply to ProSiebenSat.1’s free TV stations in Germany, Austria, and German-speaking Switzerland, plus the deal also includes selected exclusive rights for the group’s pay-TV and subscription video-on-demand platforms.
The Simpsons just wrapped its 28th season here in the United States and is currently in production for a 29th season coming this Fall on FOX.
