Jon Stewart Animated Series On HBO Canned
Welp, that’s not gonna happen.
Production issues and personally, I think the fact that Jon Stewart is loving his post-Daily Show lineup, has caused the last year announced short-form animated series he was producing with HBO to officially be canceled.
The series was intended to be an Onion-like take on CNN, but I think we can all agree that we have enough Donald Trump jokes in the world, having a bunch more seems like it would be throwing a bunch of shit on a wall that’s already covered.
That said, there was a good amount of investment in producing an animated series almost instantaneously and that HBO may use this for future projects.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
