Review: We Bare Bears “Panda’s Art”
Art on art.
Spoilers Below
Pan-Pan’s taking an art class, but his grades aren’t where they should be. His teacher orders him to pick some sort of new subject for his next project and use a bit more inspiration. The result is a Charlie pose that gets so much recognition from the teacher, she sets up a meeting with a curator offering to make Panda a world famous artist. Unfortunately, Pan-Pan has already given his painting to Charlie who loves it more than anything because it’s from his best friend, however, Pan still wants to be famous so he decides to steal it back.
On the day of the meeting between Pan-Pan and both the teacher and the curator, Panda decides to rescind on giving his painting over and gives it back to Charlie…freshly “painted” with Pan-Pan’s signature.
Our Take
Special kudos to whatever producer of this series put together all of those paintings of Charlie because they were exquisite, and given the option, I’d buy a couple. And while normally I don’t like montages, the montages featuring Pan-Pan’s acts of painting were very well done and beautifully put together. And yes, the underlying moral of the episode has been done before, the result was dripping with way more of the charm that We Bare Bears is known for that it didn’t matter.
SCORE
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
