A ‘Steven Universe’ OST album has finally been announced!

Coming in June as a digital download.

The digital album, titled “Steven Universe Soundtrack: Vol.1” is due out June 2nd, Cartoon Network announced Tuesday. The album will include music featured in the Emmy-nominated animated series, including the show’s iconic theme song “We Are the Crystal Gems”

The Vol.1 Album will feature remastered songs handpicked by Series Creator Sugar and performed by the voice cast themselves, including Zach Callison (Steven), Estelle (Garnet), Deedee Magno Hall (Pearl), Michaela Dietz (Amethyst), and Tom Scharpling (Greg). Series creator Rebecca Sugar and other special guests also perform on select tracks.

In a recent “EW Article” this is what Sugar had to say:

“I can not say enough about how much I love each of these tracks! But I can say that this is the best they’ve ever sounded! Please blast them! Please sing along! That’s what these are for! If the music of Steven Universe has been a tiny piece of the score of your life, please know that I am so honored. I hope you’ll love this album as much as we loved making it.”

 

Volume 1 will be available for digital purchase on June 2nd but at the time of this article, nobody knows what the track listing will be but we here at Bubbleblabber will be sure to share the listing when it becomes public.
