10 Times Other Broadcast Networks Tried To Beat “The Simpsons” But Failed Miserably
Former Simpsons producers Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein would help produce one of The WB’s lone attempts at making a prime-time animated comedy with Mission Hill. The show was actually pretty good and was the animated equivalent of a John Hughes film, only with none of the support. The show was cancelled after six episodes and then was picked up by a very early iteration of the fledgling Adult Swim network where it helped gain a cult following here in America followed by many a request for a revival, however, as of today, we have 13 episodes of the first season aired with an additional five having never been finished.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
