Stray Animals Roam The NYC Subway System For HBO
Or in other words, a regular day at the office.
In one of the more unique marketing campaigns I’ve ever seen, NYC’s subway system has been run amok with rodents and stray cats as part of an awareness effort to let everyone know that a new season of Animals is premiering on St. Patrick’s Night @ 11:30 pm ET/PT (check your local listings).
The premiere episode is entitled “Rats” which is like I think the third episode named that, and in it while stuck in an animal testing lab, rats Mike and Phil enter a love triangle with their imaginary friend, which inadvertently reveals the truth of their situation. Two fleas discuss their basketball dreams and ponder life while stuck on a monkey’s back. An algae questions its existence.
Animals was created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano and is produced at Starburns Industries.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
