Seeso Announces Second Season Premiere of “Harmonquest”

The release strategy of half-a-seasons from Seeso continues.

The co-creators of Rick and Morty are having a good week this week aren’t they? Today it was announced that Adult Swim has picked up a new animated series executive-produced by Justin Roiland called Hot Streets and now his partner-in-crime Dan Harmon ALSO has a premiere date, this one for Seeso’s stream of Harmonquest season two. 

The new season will see Boneweevil (Jeff Davis) banished to the Demon Realm, with Fondue Zoobag (Harmon) and Beur O’Shift (Erin McGathy) journeying to Hell to save their friend, but they quickly realize that meddling with powers beyond their control can have serious and hilarious consequences.

HarmonQuest Season 2: Part One, which premieres July 27 will feature Gillian Jacobs, Rory Scovel, Aparna Nancherla, Paul Scheer and Patton Oswalt. Note, Seeso is doing a similar strategy that they did with their other animated series Cyanide & Happiness where they are releasing half-a-seasons at a time.
