My Hero Academia Gets Second Season Stream Date For Funimation Simuldub

This streaming service is staying hot.

Set to stream on April 1st only on Funimation will be the Simuldub premiere of the second season of My Hero Academia. The anime is based on the New York Times’ best-selling manga series and is produced by the critically acclaimed BONES studio, which is known for other hit anime series including ‘Fullmetal Alchemist,’ ‘Soul Eater,’ and ‘Space Dandy.’  Funimation will release “My Hero Academia” Season 1 on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD on April 18, 2017.

Izuku has dreamt of being a hero all his life—a lofty goal for anyone, but especially challenging for a kid with no superpowers. That’s right, in a world where eighty percent of the population has some kind of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku was unlucky enough to be born completely normal.
