MONDO Media grabs ‘Nova Seed’
Fresh off Pear Cider & Cigarettes, Mondo’s at it again!
MONDO features a bevy of original animated content. Nova Seed arrives as L.A.-based MONDO Media’s latest acquisition for its animated video lineup. The sci-fi epic remains unique in its hand-drawn animation approach. Nova Seed offers a breath of fresh air amidst a sea of CG video.
The animated film features art from director Nick DiLiberto and has been almost universally praised when making festival rounds. In addition to directing, DiLiberto drew each of the 60K Nova Seed frames.
DiLiberto’s work can be seen in such titles as Mass Effect, and Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. Joe DiLiberto and Ricardo Curtis produce, and Adele DiLiberto, Nick DiLiberto, Wes Lui, and John DeLiberto act as executive producers.
Nova Seed is described as a post-apocalyptic science fiction epic that focuses on a lion-man hybrid. There are mystical forces, and a villain named Dr. Mindskull. The animation features bright colors, and seems equally beautiful in appearance and story.
Nova Seed is expected to stream on Mondo Media’s VRV channel as well as all of the retail outlets in which to get downloads on March 28th.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
