Muppets Doc Sent to SXSW ’17

A new behind-the-scenes look on how Jim Henson brought The Muppets to life for television has been selected to be shown at SXSW. The film was directed by the legendary Frank Oz and is called Muppet Guys Talking: Secrets Behind the Show the Whole World Watched and will be narrated by Jerry Nelson with insight from ex-Muppeteers Frank, Jerry, Dave Goelz, Fran Brill and Bill Barretta.
Personally, I think it would have been far more entertaining of a documentary to learn all about the shenanigans that went down on the ABC’s take on The Muppets behind-the-scenes. Regardless, this should be fun.
SXSW runs in Austin, TX from March 10-19.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
