English Dub Review: ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. “The Partner in Crime’s Name is Nino”

This week’s episode we really just flesh out details about Jean’s pal Nino, who really is an undercover agent working for ACCA under the code name “Crow”, tasked by the five chiefs to keep tabs on Jean and see if he plans on betraying the territories. While there doesn’t appear to be any signs of this whatsoever during the course of the episode,  Mauve pops up from time to time, and it appears she maaaaay have some ulterior motives here, especially when she asks Jean out to dinner. Also, ACCA rookie Rail buries the hatchet with Jean despite nearly trying to frame the poor bastard, and actually begins to taking a liking to Jean’s sister.

Our Take

Ok, now I’m kind of interested in where this show is going, but you would think with Jean being our main protagonist we’d see way more signs of a guy trying to betray a government organization, but perhaps that ending is the start of it. A LOT of food this episode, dear God. But, ok, now I’m in. Don’t disappoint Jean, gimme something.
