Crunchyroll News: 1 Million Subs Announced! Plus New Con
These guys are just raking in the cash.
Crunchyroll has officially announced that they have surpassed 1 million in paid subscribers and 20 million registered users. The company is reporting about $9 billion…that’s billion with a “B” in revenues. So now that the company has a bunch of money to spend, why not start a con! Well, that’s exactly what the anime company is gonna do as they’ve announced a Crunchyroll Expo for Aug. 25-27, 2017, in Santa Clara, Calif.
To help celebrate, Crunchyroll will be doling out a bunch of prizes next week with Loot Crate, Fandango, and Microsoft. Not only that, for the month of February, every Wednesday will see chunks of the English dub adaptation of parody series Gintama being released.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
