Blu-Ray Review: Justice League: Dark
The special features on this are better than the effing movie.
For a complete review of the movie, Justice League: Dark…go here.
I’ve never understood the DC Animated Universe’s ideology of “throwing random crap” on a home release. I mean, we’ve got clips here for movies that are more than a year old plus some “Brave and the Bold” episodes. Not sure what any of that had to do with Justice League: Dark, but OK.
Fortunately, we do get some really cool special features and extras with the Blu-Ray release of Justice League: Dark. For starters, you get the digital copy, the DVD, and an ACTION FIGURE OF MATT RYAN’S Constantine. I usually don’t even narc out for toys, but for $27 at Best Buy I got all that, so I thought that was a good deal.
For special features, highlights include a short doc on Swamp Thing which I HIGHLY recommend. I almost wish the producers of the Justice League: Dark would have gotten rid of all the aforementioned old content and give more dollars to the Swamp Thing doc because it was VERY good. The other bit that was well done was the early look at the Teen Titans: Judas Contract animated film coming this way, and I’m kinda excited about it…not gonna lie.
A decent home release. For what I paid for Justice League: Dark, I thought I got a pretty good value even whence compared to just buying it on Digital HD ahead of time.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
