Simpsons News: Jim Beanz Remix Surfaces; How Much 50 Cent Still Makes From Cameo
Here’s what guest stars on Sunday’s episode has to look forward to in terms of residual checks coming from their Simpsons guest spots.
With an hour-long hip-hop episode of The Simpsons coming this Sunday Night, it’s no surprise that our news this morning about FOX’s longest running animated comedy has some flavor to it. The episode is entitled “The Great Phatsby” and in it Mr. Burns tries to relive his glory days, and crosses paths with a mysterious music mogul. After being conned by him and reduced to bankruptcy, Mr. Burns seeks revenge on the music producer with the help of Homer, Bart, rapper Jazzy James (guest voice Keegan-Michael Key) and the mogul’s ex-wife, Praline (guest voice Taraji P. Henson). Also, Lisa is courted by the richest kid in town, Smithers begins a perilous journey and Marge opens an obscure boutique store.

In kind of related news, 50 Cent is in the news talking about his past guest appearance on The Simpsons, more specifically how much money the hip-hop star still makes in residuals after his guest appearance on “Pranksta Rap”.
According to Themusic.au, fif still takes home about $17 in whopping residuals according to November filings from the rap artist who in 2015 filed for bankruptcy.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
