Constantine To Be Adapted As Animated Series For CW Seed
CW Seed brings franchise back from the dead for an animated adaptation.
CW Seed continues to build its impressive animated DC Comics franchises. The second season of Vixen has wrapped and we’re eagerly anticipating Freedom Fighters: The Ray animated series. Now, the streaming service has announced an animated adaptation of NBC’s Constantine series.
We’re getting anywhere between five-to-six 10 minute episodes featuring Matt Ryan reprising his role as the titular character. David S. Goyer and Greg Berlanti will be helping produce.
Our Take
Not only is the fact that CW Seed is getting more animated franchises as part of the Arrowverse important but look at the increases in episode runtimes! It’s clear that CW Seed is the only major network taking action-animation seriously and they are doing it with the right producers behind it.
