Review: The Paranormal Action Squad “A Master Class in Kicking Ass”
VR Troopers.
Spoilers Below
Vanoss takes part in a VR simulation to see what it would be like if he was a permanent member of the Paranormal Action Squad. Unfortunately, the owl-headed/karate-kicking applicant is a bit too temperamental at the moment to be considered permanent. Eddie, on the other hand, more than finds success in a different VR simulation…
Our Take
I kinda can’t stand “dream episodes” ala Adam Sandler’s Click, and that’s mostly what this is only it’s not cool to dream anymore, so we have virtual reality instead. In any case, the battles with the monsters were fun (featuring some excellent character designs), and I was a bit disappointed they had to end the way they did while Vanoss was JUST starting to kick some ass. Some of the things that go down 12 years in the future while in the simulation were pretty funny, but I won’t spoil them here because they are rather unexpected.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
