Review: Rooster Teeth Animated Adventures “Chris’ Smoking Hot Date”

Chris picks her up on his very first date.

Chris tells the story of a terrible blind date. He thought the girl looked cute in some of her pictures but, when he got there, she turned out to be much older than he thought. She also sounded like a 60-year old smoker. It also turned out that she was kinda stupid. When Chris asks her if she had been any place interesting, she answered both Australia and New Zealand, not realizing they are different countries. The reason she was in New Zealand? Stripper convention. Where they did a lot of drugs and smoked a lot.

Yet another episode that has an interesting story but it isn’t something super hilarious. I wonder what the criteria is for a bit to become an animated adventure. Considering the extra work that would need to go into animating a conversation, you would think they would pick the best of the best stories. These make the Rooster Teeth folks look rather boring and bland, which I know they aren’t. They can definitely do better than this.
