Ratings Are In 12/5/16: “Simpsons” Stays Hot for FOX

Plus, scheduling news for FOX, and how NBC will affect the numbers moving forward.

Not only is The Simpsons the top-rated get for FXX with the 600 episode marathon that wraps on Wednesday, but FOX is also reaping the rewards of the franchise with a ratings increase after a nearly two-week hiatus. According to THR:

The Simpsons outpaced all other entertainment series for the night, earning a 2.4 rating among adults 18-49. Son of Zorn (1.3 adults),  and Family Guy (1.6 adults) followed.

Next week, the hottest team in football, the Dallas Cowboys, are getting the Sunday Night Football nod and it stays like that for the next two Sunday Nights, so we’ll see how these numbers look compared to that. Also, don’t expect to see any Bob’s Burgers until next year, while this weekend will be the final for premiere episodes for The Simpsons, Family Guy, and Son of Zorn. Check your local listings!
