FuboTV to Launch Sports-Themed Bundle of Nets
What this could mean for animation.
FuboTV is a new skinny bundle TV offering coming by way of NBC Universal and FOX sports to counteract Disney’s own ESPN-themed streaming service. The purpose of all of the services is to include sports, sports, and more sports.
That said, FuboTV will still include a bunch of networks that will feature your favorite animated shows like FX, FXX, and local FOX networks.
There’s been an influx of animated sports programming that’s been sneaking around as of late, but nothing mind-blowing. UFC has partnered with Ren & Stimpy’s John K. for animated shorts that play up fights, and Turner Sports (not a part of this deal) has been showing up with a bunch of NBA shorts. Not sure if this is a trend that will continue to grow with more sports-only services coming about, but it’s something to keep an eye on.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
