3) Squidbillies

Adult Swim’s best animated series of 2016 is one of the few that aired this year that wasn’t a sketch series or a live-action animated deal like Dream Corp LLC. Clearly, the network has an animated content issue following a dozen or so cancellations over the last couple of years and Squidbillies may follow suit given the network’s lack of support of the franchise whenever it airs a new episode. I hope this isn’t the case, because the most recent season of Squidbillies may be one of the franchise’s most solid to date.
