Review: Future-Worm! “The Time Travelers Council / Future Danny And The Scourge Of The Plierates / Bug’s Very Important Job”

“The Time Travelers Council” 

Danny travels through time to avoid being grounded for flooding the kitchen with sea water. It isn’t long before we run into the Council of Clocks and that Fyootch is found guilty of a crime (committed by Danny) and has to serve the time…as a real worm. Danny challenges the punishment by taking on a gauntlet of the Council’s finest warriors. Danny wins the gauntlet, Fyootch is back to normal, and Danny apologizes to his family.

“Future Danny And The Scourge Of The Plierates” 

Future Danny interrupts a ritual led by the Plierates and saves a damsel in distress. Danny actually clears the planets of the Plierates and heads to…

“Bug’s Very Important Job”

Future Danny pays a visit to Bug and warns her to tell Regular Danny to NOT touch the pliers. Bug doesn’t believe Future Danny is who he says he is, so Danny’s gotta put together a special visit to one of Bug’s heroes. Unfortunately, even THAT doesn’t work and we get a big fight between Future Danny and Bug, but we get resolution between the two. Future D. ends the day by getting caught by the Plierates after touching a pair of pliers.

Our Take

If you’re like me and you wanna see full episodes of Future Danny, this week’s episode was damn near close. Not only were two-thirds of the episode starring the Paul Williams voiced character featured, but Future-Danny had a “wink and you’d miss it” cameo in the first round.

Fans of Strawberry Slug, Justin Roiland, and Bug are WELL represented this episode which isn’t always the case. That, and you get to learn a very important lesson…always leave plumbing to the professionals.
