Schedule Quickies: Elena gets new night and time; Plus Bongo Comics

A couple of quick hits in terms of calendar updates.

Official this month we’ve got two quick notes in terms of schedule premieres and release dates for various franchises. First up, Disney Channel has announced that Elena of Avalor has a single episode airing this month and it will be on a new night and time. Check out a synopsis below:

Sunday, October 16 
Original Series – Episode Premiere 
Elena of Avalor “A Day to Remember” 
(7:00 – 7:30 P.M. EDT)
On Dia de los Muertos, Elena discovers her ability to see ghosts and sets out to help the spirit of a woman mend the rift between her grandchildren and save the family restaurant.
*Guest starring Jamie Camil as Julio, Justina Machado as Carmen, Ivonne Coll as Doña Angelica.

In sort of related news in terms of singularities, Bongo Comics has announced a-lone release for October for The Simpsons and you can see a release date and a sneak peek at the cover art below:
