Review: South Park “The Douche and the Danish”
This week’s new South Park episode, “The Douche and the Danish” is yet another great piece of this season’s stellar arc.

Where do I start?
Gerald is working with other trolls to stop the Danish from making TrollTrace.com, which is a method to expose all internet trolls everywhere. And of course, Mr. Garrison (Douche) is still running for U.S. president (and trying to alienate his fanbase).
Randy runs support groups for people who are addicted to Member Berries. And the kids– led by Cartman and his new girlfriend, are trying to get the girls and boys to get along, and also to help the Danish.
It’s really crazy to see Cartman in love and doing positive things for people. And it’s all because he and his girlfriend quit social media. Biting satire all around. And the Member Berries are a comment on people wishing for some “better time” that never existed. Then, we have Garrison as Trump. No plan to run the country, just saying more and more awful things and whining about rigged elections.
Basically, South Park still encapsulates everything going on in the world today and all that’s wrong with it. Confusing modern life. Ever changing. I feel like nothing like this season of South Park or the last couple seasons have really ever been successfully done in animation before. Just amazing stuff. Matt and Trey continue to write poignant social commentary, and we’re along for this excellent ride.
It’s not always the funniest jokes this season, but the humor is in the insanity. That’s how I know I love it. When it’s not fully laugh out loud funny, but I’m enthralled. Every cliffhanger ending each week leaves me wanting more!
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
