Review: Regular Show “Space Creds”

Mordy and Rigby want a new pair of kicks, but don’t have any money that’s accepted at the space station, so they run an errand for a crazy lady named Jessica. She wants the guys to go inside her huge plant’s body, and save her husband with the necklace he stole in a dispute. Mordecai and Rigby do just that, and Jessica’s husband Craig makes sure the duo get paid for their troubles as he decides to start a new life with Jessica inside the plant despite the fact that the two just tried to kill each other.

Our Take

I can see the need to make money being a recurring theme here, but I hope it isn’t constant. Making money is such a boring trope that I’m not sure even Regular Show can transcend the run-of-the-mill plot points. Yea, we get crazy adventures, but the journey is somewhat obvious.
