Review: Regular Show “Lost and Found”

SO FUCKING DETERMINED!!

Chance forgot his wallet on a random planet, so Mordecai, Rigby, and the others have to go get it back so that he can pay his tab and be released from confinement for not paying a lunch bill. Once we get to the planet, everyone’s gotta meet the Mantis King in order to gain access to the “Lost and Found” box. The box does have the wallet, but the guys have to stay and feast before they are allowed to leave. Unfortunately, the menu is mostly of bugs and slime of which all of the guests have to eat. When dessert comes around, Mordecai accidentally proposes marriage to the princess.

Mordecai eventually declines the proposal and a big huge battle ensues between the planet’s mantis populace and the guests. When Recap reveals himself to be a robot, it causes a distraction long enough to grab Chance’s wallet and escape.

Our Take

Ooooooo….Regular Show could very well be challenging Rick and Morty for silly planets and their inhabitants. The Mantis King and his colleagues were pretty hilarious, especially with their customs and odd fears of robots. We get a rather standard Regular Show trope, and Mordecai and Rigby have been conducting crazy errands for years, but it still works almost every time. I think these are the types of episodes I’ll miss the most from Regular Show.
