Ratings Are In 9/12/16: Son of Zorn off to strong start

In all my years of covering FOX programming, I’ve never seen the network work THIS hard on promoting a new series, live-action/animated or otherwise, than I have Son of Zorn and the network STILL screwed the promotion up by really keeping the sneak peek on the down low the last couple of weeks instead focusing more on the September 25th premiere.

Fortunately, the ratings came in strong which is a great sign for the new franchise. Here’s what Variety had to say:

Fox’s own afternoon NFL coverage offered a primetime boost to new comedy “Son of Zorn,” which offered a preview at 8 p.m., nabbing a healthy 2.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 6 million viewers.

More Son of Zorn is on the way starting September 25th at its normal time-slot of 8:30 pm ET/PT, check your local listings.
