Comics Review: Regular Show #39
Flying off the back swing.
This month’s Regular Show Comics features the continuation of Benson’s reign over a planet that, at first, he seems to be really into because THESE guys listen to him when he barks orders. After a while, the park manager does miss his friends and decides to go back, but NOT so fast. In “Nothing Good On” the guys find a warped remote that changes Benson’s mood…like Click but with WAY better acting.
Our Take
I was rather enjoying Benson’s run as a ruler, so I’ll be curious to see how part 4 plays out. I do have a complaint about Pops’ dialogue which I didn’t think really feel like Pops. “Nothing Good On” was, I think, a little better and actually I think would’ve made a pretty good TV show episode.
SCORE
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
