Do you even lift, brah?
Spoilers Below
When Morty wants to do some real good, Rick takes him to a planet where it rains baby seals. While on the planet, we meet Peacock Jones and his cohort Barbarica, both of whom become useful when the group is attacked by Robodudes. Fortunately, everyone gets away, but there’s more story in issue #18 so we’ll have to see what Morty does with his new found seal juice then.
In, “Don’t Look A Gift-Horse in the Rick”, Morty takes a back seat and Beth joins Rick on a planet that is being invaded by horse warriors. A shoot out ensues, or does it?
Our Take
This month, the producers of Rick and Morty comics did a solid job of introducing new characters. Peacock Jones was OK, but Barbarica was awesome! I hope we see her again and club more seals. And then the humanoid horses in the finale battle are great for those whom have always wanted to see BoJack Horseman crossed with Dog, the Bounty Hunter.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
